Tim Bergling was born on September 8, 1989 in Stockholm, Sweden.
Avicii emerged in the music industry in 1996 when he was 7 years old, doing a remix for the game "Lazy Jones" Commodore 64 This led to his first release on Strike Recordings with the title of "Lazy Jones".
The dance critic of Hotpress Sean Russell described it as "the only DJ capable of whipping instruments and a full public presentation."
In 2010, Avicii released a collaboration with his colleague, the Russian DJ John Dahlbäck, titled "Do not Hold Back". Moreover, it has projects with internationally recognized DJs Tiësto and Sebastian Ingrosso. Although his works are mostly electronic music, EMI released a

True (also titled TRUE) is the first studio album by Swedish DJ Avicii. It was released on September 13, 2013 by PRMD record labels Universal Music and Island affiliate of Universal Music. True has the collaboration of guitarist and producer Nile Rodgers US, the country singer Mac Davis and Mike Einziger, guitarist of Incubus. Also includes the participation of the musician and soul singer Aloe Blacc Dan Reynolds, the American rock band Imagine Dragons (his vocals were featured in a released version on SoundCloud although not being done at the launch of "Heart Upon My Sleeve") , singer-songwriter Dan Tyminski, Alison Krauss and the band Union Station, the singer and songwriter Sterling Fox, and the American singer and songwriter Adam Lambert. The album was a commercial success, peaking inside the top 10 of at least ten countries, including debuting at number 2 in the UK.
